Position: Director of Human Resources
Employment: Full-Time (40 hours a week).
The Cape May Brewery is searching for a passionate professional to head Human Resources in Cape May, NJ. We are a rapidly growing company and currently one of the top craft breweries in New Jersey. Job description:
Lead and maintain all aspects of human resources at a quickly growing craft brewing company.
Payroll:
Review time and attendance information for completeness and accuracy.
Contact various department Supervisors for any missed times/discrepancies in allowed and taken PTO.
Human Resources:
Review resumes and schedule interviews as requested by managers
New hire onboarding and documentation
Maintain employee lists and calendars
Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Assist with recruitment and interview processes. Coordinate job postings on Company web site and in print. Review resumes, set up interviews and perform reference checks.
Maintains HR bulletin board to communicate Company-related events and benefits information to employees.
Assisting with annual performance evaluation forms
Ensure 90 day reviews and yearly reviews are received in a timely manner from all Supervisors/Managers.
Provide administrative duties as needed.
FMLA/NJFLA compliance and administration.
Assist with identifying and scheduling employee training
Maintaining Company’s organizational chart
Additional Duties:
Ensures legal compliance with government employment laws, federal guidelines established by the U.S Occupational Safety and Health Administrations, etc.
Maintains company policies, company handbook and implements updates/changes with respect to laws regarding notice of changes
Maintains employee benefit programs including fringe benefits
Provide detailed reporting to executive management as requested
Plans and assists with budgeting company staffing needs with attention to the busy times and slow times of the business
Streamlines the recruiting process from writing job ads, reviewing applications all the way through to writing the offer letter
Handles employee relations and concerns, without bias, to preserve the employer-employee relationship
Protects the company by following proper protocol and laws for employee write-ups or termination
Conducts exit interviews with executive management when necessary
Assists in devising career tracks for employees who demonstrate the aptitude and desire for upward mobility
Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate information regarding vacations, sick-days, leaves of absence, etc.
Implements the organization's drug-free workplace policy
Requirements
5 years of HR Experience
Holds a bachelor degree or greater
Must be a professional who excels in an entrepreneurial environment
