Assistant Brewer / Lead Cellar Person needed in award-winning Midwest brewery

West O Beer, now in it's third year, is seeking a full-time Assistant Brewer / Lead Cellar Person. We are located in West Okoboji, IA and border one of only three blue-water lakes in the world, West Okoboji Lake. We are passionate about exceptional craft beer and it shows. Our brewery has taken home the Gold for Sweet or Cream Stout at the 2014 & 2015 Great American Beer Festival. Passion + Quality + Fun = West O Beer...Join our family.


Requirements / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- keeping production area clean
- following CIP SOPs to clean and sanitize tanks, equipment and kegs
- centrifuge operation
- keg cleaner / filler operation
- bottle filler and label machine operation
- follow head brewers instructions
- be a fast learner
- attention to details
- ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly, and move kegs 165 lbs
- ability to work in hot wet environment
- exposure to brewhouse operations
- able to speak to and interact with customers, sometimes in groups

*Production brewery experience is an advantage, but not required
