We are opening a new brewery in Greenville, NC and are looking to hire a head brewer with commercial production experience. We are looking for applicants with passion for delicious American craft. We focus on quality control and consistency, and we want to hire someone of similar mindset. The head brewer will be responsible for working with the brewmaster to schedule production, develop new and exciting recipes for our catalog, make suggestions for continuous improvement, and shift brew on our brand new 10bbl system. Applicants should have:
- 2-3 years of experience in a commercial brewery as a shift brewer
- A working knowledge of basic QC methods and cellarmanship (ex. CIP best practices, reading HLPs, fermentation monitoring, etc.)
- A passion for promoting our brand, including traveling to local events and festivals in eastern NC
- Formal brewing education is not required, but is a plus
This would be a great opportunity for an experienced shift brewer to step up to new challenges and responsibilities!
