    JOB TITLE: Lead Forecast Analyst
    LOCATION: Administration building
    REPORTS TO: Director of Business Insights
    FLSA POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Salaried Exempt
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 10/24/2016-11/13/2016

    POSITION SUMMARY: Manages Sales forecast accuracy, forecasting tools and systems. Manages sales and forecast data to provide recommendation and insight to the sales leadership team in regards to allocations and future planning. Coordinates sales brand and package needs with brewery sales staff, beer production and logistics teams.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery, Inc. and is accountable for the safety of his/her direct reports.
    •Leads all day-to-day activities necessary to ensure forecasting tools and systems are accurate.
    •Promotes an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork within the department and the company.
    •Advocates a continuous improvement culture throughout his/her team.
    •Actively engages team members towards developing their professional goals.
    •Conducts annual performance appraisals with all direct reports.
    •Coordinates with HR for interviewing and hiring of all new team members.
    •Coordinates with HR to effect disciplinary measures when necessary.
    •Leads team meetings to ensure effective communication across all shifts.
    •Coordinates with Region Managers to set and maintain annual sales forecast to within 5% accuracy.
    •Works closely with Beer Traffic Controller and Production Scheduler to maintain consistent flow of the right beer in the right package at the right time for maximized distributor order fulfillment.
    •Proposes production volumes and specialty brand allocation based on forecasting data.
    •Manages and communicates all forecast and allocation related objectives, policies, and procedures with sales leadership team members.
    •Attends and assists with regional and national sales meetings, as needed.
    •Designs and conducts on-going training programs with sales team and distributors on all aspects of Bell’s forecasting procedures.
    •Develops and oversees forecast reports, dashboards and benchmarking.
    •Executes adjustments to the sales forecast while keeping management apprised of key concerns and developments.
    •Analyzes forecast data and shares insights with management monthly.
    •Imports allocations and forecasts into Microsoft AX and adds manual updates as needed
    •Manages Beer Release Calendar.
    •Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are occasionally necessary.

    Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    •Exceptional leadership skills.
    •Excellent oral, analytical, written, and group presentation communication skills and comfortable addressing diverse groups.

    •A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
    •Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    •Data Visualization Software (Tableau)
    •Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with all internal stakeholders
    •Ability to analyze and translate insights data to spot opportunities for improved forecasting
    •Demonstrated ability to think strategically
    •Strong organizational & planning skills

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or related field.
    •Minimum of five (5) years with experience in sales, logistics and/or data analysis.
    •Previous leadership or management experience.
    •Industry experience preferred.
    •Experience with Data Visualization Software and Presentations.
    •Ability to identify and pull needed data using SQL queries.
    •Moderate level of craft beer product knowledge is a plus.

    •Performance duties of this job include regularly being required to sit, stand and walk.
    •Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.

    •Must be able to participate in organoleptic assessment of beers.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
    •Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional trips to operational areas required.
    •Travel by air and ground will be required.
