Job Summary
Bend Brewing Co. is seeking a full-time Assistant Brewmaster/Cellar Person to work in the day to day operations of our beer production facility in downtown Bend, Oregon. Opportunity to move into a brewing position within first 6 months possible.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
• Vessel CIP
• Malt Milling
• Spent Grain Removal
• Bottling
• Beer transfers to/from tanks and barrels
• Barrel cleaning/maintenance
• Keg cleaning & filling
• General facility cleaning
• Inventory Management
• Customer Relations and occasional sales
• Product Delivery
• Record keeping
• Understanding of chemicals, gases, pressures and temperatures as related to cellar operations
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
• Several years experience working in a beer production facility
• Have the desire to move into a brewing position
• A clean driving record
• Flexible Schedule
• Ability to lift heavy loads
• Hard work ethic
• Knowledge of safety protocol in cellar/brewing environment
• Critical thinker/organized, able to be a problem solver
