We are a new local brewery located on the beautiful island of Hilton Head in South Carolina. Established in 1994 as the first brewpub in the State of South Carolina. Last March, we opened a production facility separate from the brewpub with four 20bbl fermenters, one 20bbl bright tank, three 7bbl fermenters, and one 7bbl bright tank. In addition to South Carolina, we are now operating in the State of Georgia.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Brewer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with all fundamental functions of the brewing process
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and monitoring of fermentation
- Assist with cleaning tanks and washing kegs
- Assist with all aspects of distribution: canning, kegging, packaging, wrapping of pallets, and warehousing
- Market product at attended brewing festivals and events
- Give visitors tours of brewery and explain production process
This is a full time salaried position. Applicant should have 1 - 3 years of brewing experience and a passion for craft beer. Must possess the ability to work independently and have a flexible schedule to accommodate brewing demands. Applicant must have the physical ability to lift above 30 lbs throughout the shift duration.
