We are looking to add a person with both brewing and bottling experience to our team at Druthers Brewing Company's Albany, NY location. The successful candidate will have significant experience in commercial brewing and/or very relevant education as well as significant experience operating a bottling line. Bonus points if you have run a CFT machine, because that's what we're getting. This position will require work in all facets of brewing: cleaning, wort production, fermentation management, cleaning, packaging, quality control testing and cleaning.
We are a small but rapidly growing company with two brewpubs in NY's Capital region. Our Albany location is 1.5 years old and will brew about 2,500 BBL this year. We have what is nominally a 30 BBL system with 60 BBL cellar tanks but we can squeeze 50-60 BBL out of a single batch. We currently package draft for both on and off premises sales from this facility. There is room to expand. We anticipate delivery of a CFT bottling line in early 2017 and anticipate needing a rapid production increase once the line is running.
Our Saratoga Springs location, opened Aug. 1, 2012, is a brewpub with a 10 BBL system and will produce about 1,200 BBL this year. We have won World Beer Cup awards for our Gose and Scottish Ale.
We offer a competitive salary and medical insurance that will make you long for a single-payer system but is sadly better than a lot of what's out there (just being honest). We are pretty generous with beer allotments (after work) and are generally a nice bunch of people.
