  • Dry hopping technique

    Hello!
We have a 6bbl Dave Porter kit (rough and ready but it works) going straight to cask from fermenter - currently looking for a method of containing dry hops so we can brew hoppier beers. Currently we cask hop as our pub serves via caskwidge filter buts it's a little wasteful. We're toying with a few ideas including large washable sacks, and lastly just chucking in some t90s and see what happens. Ideally I'd like some form of metal mesh steeper/infuser but wouldn't know where to source. I do know an engineer who makes machine parts for a living so potentially he could knock something up.
Any ideas welcome. Sure we'll crack it soon but just want to see what's out there. Cheers!

Why not simply use an upstand to hold back the yeast and hops?

May find something here. I've purchased our hop strainer from them and it works well. https://utahbiodieselsupply.com/brewingfilters.php
