    Howdy, all.

I'm working on a startup brewery budget, and I'm looking for a couple of figures. I'm wondering how much beer per barrel I should expect to lose under normal operating conditions. I'm also looking for a number to plug into my CO2 costs. Any help would be great. Thanks much!

Always best to overestimate losses, 20% is a good round number for a startup, looks conservative on paper and easy to work with. After this, once you're running smoothly you can dial in better with your equipment and increase your profitability

      CO2 cost

Your CO2 cost will be greatly determined by whether you buy it bulk or in canisters.
For bulk, a good contact is Air Liquide http://www.airliquide.com
