Overview:
This critical role oversees all brewery production operations and supply chain. This role is responsible for all processes necessary to ensure that the production side of our business is operating safely, maintaining the highest quality standards, and producing volumes against aggressive, complex schedules to maximize product availability to consumers. This individual must hold a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations management, production-level brewing, good business sense, and exceptional leadership ability.

• Responsible for driving a system of continuous improvement and accountability for product quality, innovation, operational efficiency, and team effectiveness. Also responsible for the team’s continual processes collaborating effectively with nationally- and globally-centralized support teams.
• Facilitates and oversees cross-facility brewing projects to ensure utmost product quality true to 10BBL specifications and volume in line with strategic market supply plan.
• Oversees a supply program that moves 10BBL products out to global wholesalers with efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Responsible for fostering and conserving the independent craft culture of 10BBL as well as employee engagement among the 10BBL Operations teams.
• Operates under a complex budgeting system involving varied and interrelated components across the multiple departments falling under the scope of Brewery Operations.
• Drive brewery’s achievement of long term volume goals by developing and executing a Capacity CapEx plan.
• Own aggressive KPI targets in Production, Logistics, Quality, Brewing, Safety, Wholesale Support and Continuous Improvement.
• Ensure the company’s Quality Assurance and Safety programs (e.g., HAACP) keep pace with innovation and growing complexity of the brewing facility and processes.
• Lead a large multi-department team with several layers of reporting relationships. Lead, train, and develop team members. Hold individuals accountable for their performance.
Job Qualifications
• College degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Brewing/Fermentation or a related field.
• 7+ years management experience in a high-speed production environment, preferably within the alcohol beverages industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of all operational stages of a manufacturing facility’s internal and external supply chains.
• Experience leading large-scale industrial safety programs.
• Direct experience in brewing production preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills. Able to deliver impactful communications to groups of varying sizes and compositions.
• Able to compile, interpret, and communicate data in audience-relevant formats.
• Extensive experience operating under budget restrictions.
• Solid experience with MS Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook
• Experience managing new manufacturing buildouts and/or large-scale facility improvement projects.
