  • Post addition of lactose

I was planning to make a sweet stout today and low and behold my lactose is gone. I have to make the beer regardless so I have to add the sugar later. I am wondering how I should go about it? I can add to kegs, bright tanks or even in the fermentor. How would you proceed? Hi Scott Hi Rob

    Thanks JS

    sugar thief!!!

Boil lactose in 1/1 ratio by volume of water for 1o mins and inject it into fermentors though prv or sample valve after cooling in sanitary cornys/kegs.
