Berkshire Brewing Company of South Deerfield, MA was founded in 1994, and has become one of New England’s premier breweries, producing 20,000+ barrels of fresh ales and lagers annually. We remain true to our founding principle: It Is All About The Beer, But Beer Is Nothing Without People. We are seeking a Production Manager/Head Brewer who embraces this principle, and brings experience in managing staff, scheduling production, purchasing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have brewing experience as well as a proven history of personnel management, production management, maintaining malt and hop contracts and general oversight of brewing processes. Close interaction with Operations and Packaging Managers ensures a fluid and effective work flow, so communication skills are a priority. Berkshire Brewing self-distributes throughout southern New England, the ability to adapt to the demands of the market and adjust production plans accordingly is a must.
