  • Immersion heater

I am interested in putting a heater on my keg washer. I am wondering what is the best one I should use and where should I look for it. I checked out a few sites and am kinda shocked by the price tag. Any help would be great.
    Thanks Adrian

    Hi Adrian,
I was having the same thought. I've been looking at Grainger.com but have not yet settled on a model. Luck to ya'!

For the best durablility get the lowest watt density (w/in^2), and something with an Inconel or stainless steel sheath.

Water heater element for a domestic tank water heater have a very high watt density which is why they can burn up easily and why they are so cheap.

Ogden supplied the immersion heater on my last keg machine.
