I wish to get ATP meters to verify cleaning process. I am used to swabs.

Can anyone recommend good ATP meters for breweries or let me know what they think the considerations are?

The ATP meter by Hygiena. Get results in 15 seconds.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have used swabs before but I understand that there are different ones that measure liquids. I just want to confirm that the swabs I am used to are still considered best practices for the brewing world.

We also use the Hygiena meter. We use their traditional swabs for small areas, but to check out larger CIP'd systems (brew house, fermenters, brite tanks, etc.), we use their Aqua Snap "swab." This makes it easier to test large areas, because it uses rinse water that has run through the entire system.

+1 on the Hygiena ATP luminometers. A lot of their swabs are cross-compatible between types of swabs and types of meters. Affordable and gets the job done.
