  • Sufficient BTU/h for 250l gas-fired kettle?

I'm getting rather controversial inputs about the subj.
Morebeer.com supplies huge 300kBTU (88kW) with it's 200l B3-4000 system when on this board some people described their systems where 300K where sufficient for 5BBL something.
Would be happy to know that 200kBTU is enough for 250l.

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Assuming a 10% radiative healt loss and 2% for warming equipment, 100k (output) should be sufficient for 2.5hL.

200k btu is more than ample for your purposes.

    Pax.
