LynLake Brewery located in Minneapolis, Minnesota is looking for a head brewer. This is a position available to the right candidate. Duties cover the production of our brands from start to finish and include but are not limited to:
Recipe formulation
Raw material handling
Experience with barrel aging
Keg cleaning and filling
Cleaning
Brew house and cellar CIP's
Completing and maintaining proper documentation and record keeping
Attending/working events, both at the brewery and off-site, as needed
This position requires knowledge of and experience in a brewery. Additional requirements include:
Experience in a brewery as a head brewer;
Good mechanical skills;
A full understanding of cleaning and sanitary procedures;
Willingness to work up to 40 hours a week while maintaining a flexible schedule;
A positive attitude in a demanding environment;
An understanding of quality control and safety in a brewery facility;
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities while focusing on detail;
Good time management skills;
Physical work (bending, kneeling, entering tanks, etc)
Work on feet all day;
Working with hazardous chemicals
Work in cold or hot environment for prolonged periods
Ability to work well with others
