Head Brewer - 30bbl Production Brewery - Los Angeles CA
A established production brewery in (Los Angeles, CA) is currently looking for a head brewer to take charge of our 30bbl production facility. We are in need of a experienced brewer with 3-5 years of high volume production experience.* We are offering a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
• Strong technical understanding of the entire brewing process. Grain to Glass.
• Proven experience in recipe formulation.
• Excellent management skills and the ability to teach new staff.
• Team focused can do attitude.
• A passion for the craft beer community, and the ability / desire to schmooze with the influencers of the industry.
• Strong understanding of low pressure boilers, chillers, and other general brewery equipment.
• Oversee the ordering of all raw materials and hop contracts
• Previous experience working in Obeer a plus.
• Beer Judge and Cicerone certifications a plus.
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.
