Finch Beer Co. located in Chicago IL is seeking a full-time Brewer/Cellar Operator. Ideal candidates are strong team players with at least 1 – 2 years experience in a production brewery environment.

Desired skills include, but are not limited to:
• Grain, hops, and yeast handling, receipt, and storage
• Experience handling and maintaining multiple yeast strains
• Brewhouse operation from mash-in to knockout
• Fermentation, yeast pitching, and dry hopping
• Experience with brewery instrumentation – pH meters, hemocytometers, microscopes, refractometers, etc. required
• Follow a flexible production plan and anticipate and manage work load
• Perform CIP/SIP and associated chemical handling and documentation
• Participate in QA/QC as needed
• Participation in development and maintenance of SOPs
• Ability to communicate with the entire brewery team
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Forklift operation
• Ability to grow into new roles in the company
