Cerveceria Malix (Mal-ish), located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. We currently have a 6 BBL brew system, and are looking to bring on a head brewer to begin production this fall. Our organization comes from a restaurant background and we are looking to heavily lean on the Brewmaster for recipe ideation, and owning the brew process. So why Mexico you ask? Craft beer is taking off south of the border and we hope to be there, welcoming a new generation of craft beer drinkers to the table.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a deep passion and understanding of beer. Someone who feels confident in our support, and isn't afraid to take risks. While we need to have a lineup of approachable craft beers for the "new to the scene" drinkers we also want our Brewmaster to boldly experiment using locally sourced ingredients and working with our chefs to create unique pairings.
We hope you're a person who understands the growing pains of starting something new, but are excited for the possibilities of being a part of something great.
