Counterweight Brewing Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a brewing position. Brewers here participate in all aspects of the brewery from cellaring duties, wort production, to packaging. As a new company there is a lot of room for growth for the right person.
Job Requirements:
Professional brewery experience is strongly preferred. Genuine passion for an array of beer styles is a must. Physically capable to repeatedly lift 55 lbs, climb ladders, and be on your feet for full work days. The right person will be flexible to work long hours when necessary, including some nights and weekends.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
-Milling
-Brewing on 20 bbl 3 vessel brewhouse
-Dry hopping
-Yeast harvesting
-Cleaning, more cleaning.
-Operating canning line (training provided)
-Conducting sound CIP practices
-Did we mention cleaning?
-Monitoring Fermentation
