Goshen Brewing Company is a family-friendly brewpub serving a wide selection of craft beers and seasonal, local, farm-to-table food in a recycled power company building in Goshen, Indiana. We brew a large variety of styles (over 60 different beers in the two years we’ve been open). We brew on a seven-barrel electric brewhouse with seven 7-barrel fermentors, one 3-barrel fermentor, two 7-barrel brites, and keg everything off those brite tanks. We are adding 3 more 7-barrel fermentors this fall and considering upsizing some of our 7-barrels to 15-barrel fermentors in the spring of 2018. We are also expanding our tap-room this fall and will continue to sell beer both on-site and through retail accounts and special events. We’re looking for another brewer to join our established two-person team to help us keep pumping out delicious beverages!
40 hours per week with first and second shifts scheduled dependent on brewing schedule, some weekdays and weekends
Duties Include but not limited to milling, brewing, CIP cleaning, kegging, carbonating, recipe development, harvesting yeast, quality control, cellaring, working events and festivals
Minimum requirements/skills: Bachelor’s degree A minimum of 1 year prior professional brewing experience or formal brewing education At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license Physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, lift heavy weight frequently and move kegs Good interpersonal skills, able to engage in positive interactions with customers and co-workers Works well independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, mechanically-inclined
Compensation and benefits:
