Aviator Brewing Co. – Cellarman/Backup Brewer

About Us: We like beer. We like to make it and drink it…sometimes we sell it. We sell throughout the southeast USA and over in Europe. We live in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina (yep I know…it is just south of the megatropolis of Raleigh).
Job: The Cellarman is responsible for fermentation tracking, movement of beer, centrifuge, maintenance of equipment, sampling, density measurement, record keeping. Getting beer ready for packaging…when they need it!
Responsibilities:
• The usual.
• Clean, and sanitize the tanks
• Carbonation
• Run the centrifuge and be responsible for maintenance.
• Communicate with everyone on why you are behind 😊 hey you are the cellar guy.
• Keep you are clean and organized.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Likes beer
• Can work long hours without being annoying.
• Does not complain
• Does not complain
• Yes, it is hot sometimes and cold.
• You will be wet.
• Deep passion for brewing
• Experience in any type of brewing would be great
• Ability to follow complex instructions and adhere to them
• Precision in daily tasks
• Able to listen to heavy metal, grateful dead, and sometimes Johnny Cash.
• Work with potentially hazardous chemicals
• Positive attitude and get it done no matter what.
