Assistant Kombucha Brewer - FULL TIME (weekends and 3 weekdays)
We are looking to add a 4th brewer to our team. Are you a hard working, dedicated individual with positive attitude who will work weekends? We use the same equipment as any micro beer brewery just with different ingredients and process that we will train you on.
Responsibilities:
Brewing kombucha
Bottling & Kegging kombucha
Cleaning Kegs & Brewery
Documenting ingredient sources, Ph readings, brewed batchs etc.
Measuring ingredients
Run/manage: boiler, HLT, fermenters, brights and packaging equipment.
Must be able to lift 80 lbs or two sixtles.
Must be able to work in hot (82F) & humid environment
Brewery/Restaurant/Kitchen experience a plus, but not necessary if you’re the right fit.
Experience in fermenting (beer, wine, kombucha or fermented foods) a double bonus.
Candidate must be able to adhere to food safety standards for beverage preparation and produce a consistent product. Maintain hygiene and brewery cleanliness levels above and beyond what is required by the Health Department, and ensure that brewery safety, sanitation, and proper procedures followed every day.
