HEAD BREWER – CHAINLINE BREWING COMPANY
It’s time! We are looking to hire an experienced brewer to lead our new production facility and expand production of our award-winning beers! Chainline Brewing is a young but fast-growing brewery and taproom located in Kirkland, WA. Candidates should have a passion for craft beer and a desire to innovate while maintaining the highest levels of quality and brand integrity.
Job Description:
As head brewer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the production process to create top-quality, consistent beer while meeting targeted goals. Prospective candidates should have a strong technical brewing knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and extensive knowledge of brewery safety, sanitation, quality control, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, inspire and maintain a strong team culture
- Maintain meticulous written facility policies, beer production standards and procedures
- Develop new recipes to add to our portfolio of award-winning beers
- Help to implement and maintain a successful lab & QA/QC protocol
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (including some weekends)
- Have an obsession with maintaining a clean production facility
- Working a variety of beer festivals as well as other events
- Assist in any other tasks needed to run a successful brewery
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
Qualifications Required:
- minimum 3 years industry experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of plumbing and machinery
- Excellent industry knowledge, including sensory analysis
- Strong work ethic is a must
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong initiative and integrity
- Must be able to multitask and think quickly on your feet
- Must have a positive can-do attitude
