We are looking to hire an experienced brewer to lead our new production facility in Central Oregon. This has the potential of being a true grain to glass experience. The head brewer must have a passion for craft beer, brewing science, and a demonstrated track record of creating new recipes while maintaining the highest levels of quality and brand integrity. We are looking for a head brewer with the capability to produce a broad array of beer styles.
Job Description:
As head brewer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the production process to create top-quality, consistent beer while meeting production goals. Applicants must have extensive technical brewing knowledge, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of brewery safety, sanitation, quality control, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a cohesive brew staff
- Maintain detailed records for all aspects of the brewery operations
- Create and develop new recipes
- Experience with operating canning and bottling equipment
- Maintain clean production facilities
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- minimum 3-5 years industry experience
- Leadership and ability to manage and train employees
- Great communicator
- Computer skills - Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word
