  • Lead Brewer - North Florida

    Responsibilities:
    a) General wort production - including but not limited to mashing, later ingredients, boiling, grain out, transferring, yeast pitching, cleaning/sanitation.
    b) General cellar work - including but not limited to cleaning/sanitation, yeast handling & management, Hop handling & management, wort transferring, carbonation & keg packaging, and preventive maintenance, record-keeping & note-taking
    c) Willingness to work on nights and weekends as needed
    Qualifications:
    1. Experience at a production/distribution brewery, preferably knowledgeable on Premier Stainless equipment and/or steam fired brewhouse sized 10bbls and up
    2. Certified/Experienced in forklift operation
    3. Ability to lift 50-125lbs, capable of standing for lengthy periods of time, working in hot & sometimes humid environments
    4. KSA in brewing science, inventory management, yeast management, reporting, recipe development, general lab knowledge, multitasking
    5. Motivated, detail oriented, capable of working in a team-oriented environment, and passionate about creating high quality beer as well as representative of GrassLands, its mission and core values
    40-50 hours a week, flexible scheduling, benefits package
