The job
Lead the production process from grain to bottle
Brewing, cellaring and packaging, scheduling and inventory
Set the production schedule based on sales projections and schedule work shifts accordingly
Ensure compliance with brewery quality, sanitation and general safety standards
Help identify and implement potential cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Key role in R&D and further strategy for the business
Represent the brewery at beer festivals and external events, and help plan and execute events in the brewery
The skills
Organized, self-motivated and hard-working team player
Black belt in wort production, yeast management/cellaring and product development
Good written and oral communication skills in English
A love for spreading the joy of craft beer to the masses
Highest attention to detail and focus on quality
A strong inclination towards technical and mechanical aspects of the entire brewing
process
Requirements
3+ years of brewing experience, preferably from a small scale brewery (under 3000 barrels p/y)
Preferred
Brewers Degree from internationally recognized institution
