Little Miss Brewing Seeking Experienced Brewmaster
About us:
We are a 10BBL brewery that opened in 2016 in the Miramar area of San Diego, CA. We currently operate two tasting rooms, one in our production facility and the other in Normal Heights which opened last year. Our current brewer is heading to Tennessee to open up his own facility in the summer and we are looking for someone with experience that he will help train on our system.
About you:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with at least two years production brewery experience to brew our lineup and create new quality recipes and construct exciting seasonal brews. You will report directly to the owners. You will help manage and maintain our facility and put forth a high quality product that meets and exceeds the expectations of craft beer drinkers. You will be in charge of many aspects of production. You will be able to express your creativity through recipes.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
Responsible for the production of our beers and will complete all facets of the brewing process including brew house operations, cellar, filtration, finishing, and building a barrel aging program in the brewery (e.g. Oversee all brewing and packaging operations, Recipe development, Operations Management, Inventory Management).
Job Requirements:
-2 or more years brewing in a production facility (5BBL or greater)
-A degree from a professional brewing education program preferred but not required
-Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours and lift 65 lbs on a consistent basis
-Attention to detail and dedication to high quality brewing process and ingredients
-Excellent leadership and communication skills
-Passion for the craft
-Team player
-Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
Benefits/Compensation:
- Compensation is commensurate to experience and education
- Paid company holidays, five float holidays and two weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Eligible for profit sharing and sweat equity after one year
