Job Posting for BREWER
The Alamo Beer Co. of San Antonio, Texas is looking for a brewer to join our team. Brewers are the essential part of every brewery and are relied upon to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We are looking for a passionate individual who has a willingness and drive to learn. Previous experience in a brewery is useful, but not mandatory.
Job Duties will include:
Learn the entire brewing process from milling through brewing, cellaring and filtering.
Ensure that all vessels, floors, equipment and the entire brewery remain clean and well kept.
Must assist in every aspect of the brewing process.
General housekeeping
Recycling of material
Ensure that the day-to-day management of Health and Safety is kept within company guidelines
Routine maintenance
Contribute to new beer and new processes
Attend brewers’ festivals and brewer meetings
Job Requirements:
Brewing experience is preferred but not mandatory
A brewing degree or other chemical/microbiological degrees also a plus
MUST be able to lift 60 lb. or more repeatedly
