We are an Anchorage start-up, about to assume a functioning 10 Bbl complete operation. Expect to be making beer toward the end of May and need someone who will be available at that time. We are scrambling a bit to find a lead brewer as our best prospect had to back out at the last moment.
Plan to brew a range of styles, but Belgian and sour beer is our passion and forte. Emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients and being a solid member of the local community. We seek someone who is willing to help with the full range of duties around the business, to include some serving in our tasting room. Practical brewing experience on a similar scale is mandatory, and formal education in any field is a plus.
