Urban Family Brewing Company is looking for a Assistant Brewer to join our team. This will be a full-time position with opportunity for growth in the organization.
This individual must be able to:
-Learn quickly and adapt to an ever changing schedule.
-Work individually and within a team.
-Stand for long periods of time.
-Lift 100lbs.
General Duties include:
-Yeast, malt, and hops handling.
-CIP of tanks, kegs, and any other equipment.
-Maintain a clean work environment.
-Cellar Operations.
-Assist in bottling, kegging, and brewing operations.
-Keep up-to-date with developments and brewing innovations, continuously work on professional development and seek out education whenever possible.
-Represent the brewery at functions, festivals and events as needed.
-Evenings and weekends as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Worked in a brewery in a production capacity for at least 3 years.
-A passion for innovative beer styles.
-A strong work ethic, and a commitment to company goals.
-Sensory program experience.
