We are looking for a brewer or cellar person to add to our team in Birmingham, AL early this summer or sooner.
We started back in 2011 and made our first beer in 2012 on a small 3.5bbl brewhouse, which in 2015 we produced 980bbls with. After working through an expansion and moving everything to the new building, we opened our new location in January 2016. Since our expansion, we have added a couple more tanks and put a canning line in play. Our system currently includes a 30bbl Sprinkman brewhouse, 3.5bbl brewhouse, (3) 120bbl FVs, (3) 60bbl FVs, (2) 15bbl FVs, (4) 7bbl FVs, (1) 4bbl FV, (1) 120bbl BT, (1) 60bbl BT, (1) 7bbl BT and a Wild Goose 250 with entire Ska depal and conveyance.
A top candidate for our position would possess the following, but not required:
- 3yr experience in a production brewery or brewpub as a brewer or cellar man.
- a focus on details and cleanliness
- ability to lift full bags of grain and empty kegs
- chemistry / micro-biology background
