Brewer Wanted Charlotte NC Lenny Boy Brewing
Position: Brewer
Shift: Full time plus some weekends for festivals
Lenny Boy Brewing is currently looking for an additional brewer to hire! We are located in the South End area of Charlotte NC. We are looking for a brewer that can not only follow current brew processes, but also explore their own creative brewing mind- crafting new beers on our pilot system, and on our main system.
>>>> Professional brewing/cellar work experience is required.
What makes a good candidate:
-Enthusiastic approach to your job
-Good mind for recipe formulation
-The ability to regularly lift 60 pounds and occasionally lift up to 175 pounds.
-Able to work in a noisy and high traffic environment
-Possess a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
-Ability to take on various levels of responsibility from complex to simple tasks
-Ability to follow safety guidelines
-Ability to thoroughly follow SOP's and take direction well
-Efficient at doing multiple tasks at once
-Efficient at diagnosing problems
-Strong attention to detail
-Exhibits good aseptic techniques
-Great time management skills
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Good communication skills
-Keeps good written records on batch logs
-Great overall beer manipulation skills
-Eagerness to be part of the Lenny Boy team
Your job includes but is not limited to:
-Brewer is responsible for production from grains to glass
-Sustain a clean, sanitary work environment
-Assist with ongoing day-to-day operations within the brewery
-Assist with the monitoring of yeast health, fermentation, harvesting, and general yeast management
-Complete willingness to getting your hands dirty in the brew house, packaging, cellar work, warehouse area
-Must be an excellent independent worker, with little need of direction, and a clear view of what needs to be done
