    Mountain Fork Brewery is located in Hochatown, OK which is in the Southeast corner of Oklahoma, our home is not what you picture when you think of the rest of the state. Mountains, rivers, lakes, and pine trees make up the perfect environment for outdoor enthusiast. Being located just 3-4 hours from Dallas, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Shreveport we are in the perfect location for weekend getaway tourist. As a very popular outdoor focused vacation destination, we have the benefit of living in a place that many people dream of calling home and we get to pursue our dream of brewing quality craft beer in a small remote mountain town.     We are currently seeking an Assistant Brewer:

    Qualified applicants MUST have previous experience in production brewing with knowledge of brewery operations including:

    Job Responsibilities:
    ◦ - Assisting our head brewer with all aspects of the production process.
    ◦ - Brewing beer, CIP, SIP, carbonation, line cleaning, keg filling, grain milling, record keeping, yeast management.
    ◦ - Knowledge of sanitation and sterilizing techniques.
    ◦ - Comfortable working with and around chemicals with knowledge of proper safety guidelines and equipment.
    ◦ - Able to work a variable work shift schedule that is dependent on the operational needs of the day/week in the brewery. Some days require 12 hour days, weekends and some holidays. Incidentally, some work days may be longer than others, but this will be complimented with some shorter days when production doesn’t require as much attention.
    ◦ - Willing and comfortable (to learn, if needed) driving a forklift and handling a pallet jack.
    ◦ - Must be able to work hands on with assisting in the brewing process and be willing to learn ALL aspects of production brewing.




    Job Qualifications:
    ◦ - 1+ year(s) production brewing experience
    ◦ - Strong knowledge of cellaring and brewing process
    ◦ - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    ◦ - Maintain high quality work standards without direct supervision
    ◦ - Adapt to changes in brewing, packaging, and production schedules
    ◦ - Positive attitude and strong work ethic
    ◦ - Strict attention to detail and quality



    Our Profile:
    ◦ - 20 bbl 3-vessel brewhouse
    ◦ - Five 40 bbl FVs; four 5 bbl FVs
    ◦ - Palmer Gen 2 (12/1) canning line; Pack Leader PL501 labler; Climax C3 cartoner





    Physical Requirements:
    ◦ - Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for long periods of time
    ◦ - Safely lift, move, and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
    ◦ - Operate forklift and other machinery as needed
    ◦ - Ability to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals
