We are an award winning distillery in Rohnert Park who is expanding and seeks to fill an Assistant Distiller position. Distillery specific training provided. Shifts will range from 8 to 10 hours per day up to 40+ hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is a plus. This is a full time position with benefits after a probationary period. Pay will be determined on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Working under supervision of the Production Supervisor
Maintaining and cleaning all equipment and production facilities
Assisting in all phases of the distilling process (ie. CIP/COP, grain handling,
mashing, fermenting, distilling, barreling, proofing, bottling and packaging, inventory
management)
Learn, develop, understand, and follow all standard operating procedures of the distillery.
Ability to work hard while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
Bending/Stooping/Kneeling
Climbing
Lifting-Heavy (50-70 Lbs)
Reaching/Pulling/Pushing
Standing and/or Walking
Other Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must pass background check
Mechanically minded
No present or past problems with drugs or alcohol
Bonus but not required:
Welding
Plumbing
Commercial Electrical
Forklift Certified
Experience in a distillery, brewery or winery is required.
