crimp-on capper using twist caps

I am trying to find out if I can cap threaded bottles with twist-off caps using a capper that is not set up for twist-off caps.

This isn't something I want to do... but I'm stuck with it for a few runs. Does anyone know if this will work? I tried one, and it doesn't seem to be leaking.....
