Sonder Brewing is seeking to hire a full-time brewer position offering competitive wages, paid vacation, paid holidays, and health benefits. This person would be involved in all production aspects of starting up the brewery with our Director of Brewing Operations. We are seeking someone motivated to launch the brewery with our startup team this summer and grow throughout our organization long-term.
The responsibilities at launch will include but not limited to: commissioning, passivation, and participating in all functions of the brewing process from grain to glass. There is also a large emphasis on sanitation and cleaning throughout. The brewer will report directly to the Director of Brewing Operations.

Sonder Brewing is a start-up brewery located in a thoughtfully designed brand new facility. We will have a automated 30bbl QTS brewing system, foeders and a Lambrechts keg machine. Our facility is approximately 19,000 square foot, which includes the production area, a full kitchen for an onsite restaurant, tap room, and expansive outdoor recreational space, sitting upon 6.5 acres. Quality is a main pillar of our company, and what we strive for in our day to day operations.
Qualification:
3+ year of commercial brewing experience is preferred, however not required
Physical mobility with the ability to repeatedly lift 55 pounds
Attention to detail
Organized
Multitasking skills
Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Preferred but not required:
Understanding of the metric system
Fork truck license
Lab experience
