Assistant Brewer
Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery

Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery is a 1 year new rapidly growing farm brewery located in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. We are a small 5bbl/10bbl brewery with production under 1,000bbls. All of our beer produced is served in our tasting room on the farm. We are seeking an individual that is creative and wants to quickly take on the head brewer positon and continue perfecting and refining our brewing process. We are focused on producing farm style beers using hops and fruit grown on site. We have beer paring dinners with local chefs and would require your assistance with developing the pairing menus.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Assist in the entire brewing process.
• Cleaning and sanitizing cellar room tanks & kegs.
• Cleaning and sanitizing tap room lines and walk-in.
• Inventory and stocking of all materials required for brewing and packaging.
• Packaging products into kegs & bottles.
• General cleaning of all production areas.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment.
Minimum Requirements include:
• 2 years professional brewing experience; brewing, cellaring & filtration
• Must be extremely organized & accurate and somewhat of a clean freak.
• Physical ability to lift 55lb sacks overhead
• Positive attitude
• Quick learner with good comprehension skills
• Experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols
