Paradox Brewery is a rapidly growing brewery in the Adirondack Park. We are currently on the brink of a major expansion which includes a state of the art GEA Craftstar brewhouse, expanded cellar, and CODI Manufacturing canning line. we have an immediate need for a brewery assistant/ cellarperson at our current location before we move to our new location.
Responsibilities/ requirements will include but are not limited to:
-Passion for great beer
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to safely Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Strictly adhere to all Paradox brewery SOP’s.
-Setup and breakdown daily cellar tasks
-Ability to create and maintain a meticulously clean work environment.
-Comfortable working in confined spaces, lifting 55 pounds repeatedly, and moving up to 165 pounds.
-Competition quality work ethic.
-Excellent record keeping ability.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry, record keeping and E-mail
-Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and word.
-Understanding of Ekos Brewmaster a plus but not required.
-Collaborative mindset with a hands-on attitude
-Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Were a close team and need a team player.
-Extensive knowledge of beer styles.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-This position generally involves continuous standing, frequent walking, moderate to heavy lifting, moderate to heavy carrying, frequent bending and reaching, frequent climbing of stairs and ladders.
