Assistant Brewer - 10 TORR Distilling and Brewing Co - Reno, NV
Reno's newest distillery and brewery is looking for an Assistant Brewer and Distiller - this is a full time position. Tasks for this position include:
Aid in production of beer and spirits in all stages and report to the Head Brewer.
This includes grain management, milling, brewing, cellaring, distilling, proofing, packaging, etc.
Keep records and write legibly.
Follow established recipes and procedures
Enthusiastically attend brewery events and represent brewery appropriately
Requirements:
Passionate about craft beer and spirits
Bachelors Degree or Accredited Brewing/Distilling Education
2+ Years professional experience at a brewery or distillery
Ability to work evening or weekends if required
Strong work ethic and communication skills
Able to work independently in a fast paced, safety driven environment
Computer proficient - Microsoft office
21 years of age or older
Able to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs
Must have reliable transportation to work and a valid drivers license
Forklift experience a plus
Experience working in a brewery or distillery is REQUIRED in order to be considered for this position
