We operate a 10bbl steam-driven brewhouse, putting out over 1300bbls and over 70 unique beers a year. Variety, creativity, true quality, passion. Those are the things that drive our beer production. We are looking for someone committed to the industry and growth therein.
We are currently hiring an entry level (experienced preferred, but not required) Brewery Assistant position.
The position will cover a wide variety of tasks, and will set you up well for future growth with the company and in the industry. You will be involved in *every* aspect of the process to some degree. Jobs will include packaging beer (in kegs, tanks, growlers, and crowlers), monitoring and maintaining cellared beer in process, managing taproom equipment and stocking of four taprooms, procuring ingredients for each brew from warehouse, delivering beer to tied houses, cleaning taplines, giving occasional tours, washing everything all the time, assisting brewer on the hot side during brew days, attending festivals to represent the brand and the beer, helping develop recipes and marketing thereof, maintaining barrel program, and countless other duties as assigned.
The position is full-time 32-40 hours a week during slow time (November-May), and at least 40 during the busy season (May-October). Hours are generally 8-4p, with the occasional early morning and late night, and an occasional weekend duty.
