Reaver Beach Brewing Co., a craft brewery in Virginia Beach, VA, is hiring an assistant brewer and cellar person. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Head Brewer. Pay based on experience.
Duties Include:
Wort Production
Batch Metric Tracking and Management
Keg Cleaning
Keg Filling
Yeast Management
CIP/Cellar Cleaning
Racking/Transferring
Equipment Maintenance
QA/QC on Beer at all stages of production
Packaging (Bottling and Canning)
Required:
21+ years of age
Located in Virginia Beach area or willing to move
Passion for Beer
Good Communication Skills
Able to lift 55#
Able to move 160# kegs
Preferred:
Professional Brewing Education or Certification
2+ years experience in a commercial brewing environment
Lab Experience
