About the position:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Professional Skills
-Brewing experience. You must be able to independently brew beer in a commercial brewery. As a brewer at Device Brewing, you will be responsible for working in all aspects of the brewing process from milling, brewing, cellaring, and packaging.
-Quality. Device is dedicated to making the best beer that we can. Quality control and accurate data-logging during all the processes is what we expect. You will help produce beer that is consistent, free from defects, true to style, and of the highest quality. You will be directly responsible for the quality of the final product.
-QA/QC. We pay special attention to quality control/quality assurance. We cannot stress this point enough.
-Knowledge. You must be well versed in all the processes and associated aspects of commercial beer production.
The Team
-Teamwork. You will join a highly experienced, hard working and professional brewing team. You attitude should model teamwork, collaboration, communication, honesty, accountability, and community. You must believe that the team’s successes are your own achievements.
-Safety. You will be trained in safety relating to all brewing processes. You will always promote a safe work environment.
-Ambassador. You will be the one of the faces of the Device Brewing production team, both internally and externally. You will be an important part of Device Brewing by representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
-Degree in Brewing Science or Technology is a plus, but not required
-At least 2 years of professional brewing experience in a COMMERCIAL brewing environment is required. 5K+ bbl/year brewery experience is a plus.
-Highly proficient in MS Office products and Google Cloud
-Organized and detail oriented; accurate record keeping skills are a must
-Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting
-Must be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs, as needed
