Brewer for hire at Barrelhouse Brewing Co. located in Paso Robles CA
We have an immediate opening for a qualified brewer. We specialize in a variety of creative hop-forward beers but brew all styles for everyday drinkers from NE IPAs to sours and barrel-aged beers. We will brew and package approx. 14,000 BBLS this year on our Criveller 20 BBL Brewhouse.
We are looking for a team-oriented individual with:
2 years minimum professional brewing experience
Solid understanding of brewing theory and practice
Brewhouse and cellar skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Experience and proficiency in yeast management, particularly harvesting, storage, propagation, cone-to-cone transfers, and re-pitching
Ability to work as a part of a team
Ability to change tasks quickly and still maintain attention to detail
Passionate and enthusiastic about the craft beer industry and this job
Ability to work well with superiors and co-workers in a production warehouse environment
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or otherwise transport over 55 pounds
Ability to participate in beer cellar and packaging operations
Ability to assist with QC and QA
