  • Small Orders on Labels/Totes

So I'm a start-up and like many start-ups I don't make enough beer to justify ordering mass quantities of labels and totes. The cheapest place I have found for labels and totes is Atlas but they have a minimum of 5000 totes.

Does anybody have a printer that will run 500-1000 totes? And 3000-6000 labels?

What do people do when you have a small batch seasonal brew in bottles?

    Thanks

I buy blank sixpack carriers from Mumm and weatherproof shipping labels from an Avery-clone (Avery #5524) and print my own labels on my own color laser printer. One label with the Gov't Warning for the bottles, flavor descriptors on the sixpack label. Simple, easy, my way. Per label cost is $0.047, less than a nickle each. Sure, if I had a couple thousand lying around not doing anything I could have camera-ready art produced($$$) and sent to a printer and get rolls of labels at $0.02 each. Hmmm, with six different beer styles... nope, don't have $12,000!

    Your mileage may vary.
