Co-Hops Brewery and Cannery is looking for a lead brewer to take lead at one of its satellite locations. Lead brewer will operate the day to day brewing operations and oversee a 7bbl brew-house. Job requirements consist of the following.
• Entire brewing process, from milling to knock out.
• All cellar operations
• Yeast management
• Cleaning, maintaining and sanitizing, CIP, keg cleaning, tap room lines.
• Inventory, ordering and stocking of all materials required for brewing and packaging.
• Packaging.
• General cleaning of all production areas.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment.
Minimum Requirements include:
• 2 years minimum professional brewing experience
• Must be extremely organized & accurate and somewhat of a clean freak.
• Physical ability to lift 55lb sacks overhead
• Positive attitude
• Quick learner with good comprehension skills
• Experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on following cleaning and sanitizing SOP's
