    The Digital Marketing Coordinator will represent the voice and personality of Flying Dog by creating and executing content for social media, website, and email communication, along with maintaining an editorial calendar and managing engagement metrics across all channels. This role will work closely with the Director of Communications and requires a creative edge and passion for ever-evolving media and craft beer.


    Every opportunity to interact with a consumer is an opportunity to gain a brand ambassador. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will accomplish that by:

    • Producing and posting true-to-brand content across all social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vine, and Tumblr) on a day-to-day basis
    • Maintaining a monthly editorial calendar of social media and email communication initiatives
    • Developing, designing and deploying all email marketing initiatives that align with communication, retail and sales strategies
    • Creating content and maintaining the day-to-day functionality of the website
    • Developing and publishing a monthly brand engagement scorecard to track fan engagement and provide insights into the effectiveness of digital communication
    • Collaborating with other marketing team members on larger brand projects and initiatives
    • Coordinating with internal team and partners to ensure effective roll out of integrated marketing strategies
    • Keeping on top of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media and marketing technologies
    • Providing copywriting assistance, as needed


    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under stress
    • Customer-service oriented; driven by patience and desire to drive brand loyalty one person at a time
    • Willingness to accept new challenges, take on new responsibilities, learn on the job, and avoid complacency
    • Strong writing, editing, proofreading abilities, including ability to present concepts verbally
    • Flexibility to work overtime or special events when necessary
    • Passion for craft beer and a healthy sense of humor
    • Ongoing commitment to keeping on top of current events and cultural phenomena both in and outside of the beer industry


    • 2-4 years working in a full-time marketing and social media communications role
    • Bachelor's degree with a demonstrated interest in marketing, public relations, or communication
    • Proven track record of creating and executing successful digital/social marketing campaigns
    • Intimate knowledge of web-based applications and social media platforms
    • Working knowledge of current trends in digital and social media along with analysis tools
    • Experience managing and optimizing budgets for paid social media campaigns
    • Natural ability to follow established processes and understand organizational workflows
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point
    • Strong writing and editing abilities, including being able to present concepts verbally
    • Confidence, pride in work, and attention to detail
    • 21 years of age or older


    • Working knowledge of basic coding (HTML/CSS), graphic design and video editing


    The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work traditional office hours (8:30 am to 5 pm), along with nightly and weekend social media posting and monitoring.
