We are looking for a motivated, sales professional to join our team to represent the craft breweries in Virginia. Candidate must be confident, assertive and able to manage defined goals.
As the Craft Brew Sales Representative for Ferment Nation, you will be responsible for creating and/or sustaining relationships with key retailers.
Responsibilities
Develop and sustain customer relationships
Look at territory with entrepreneurial eyes to locate new opportunities for increased sales and market penetration
Identify opportunities to grow brands
Successfully reach or exceed monthly sales goals
Proper merchandising of accounts, including set up and organization
Set up and participate in promotions, beer dinners, and special events
Follow code policy and regulations
Maintain a regular schedule of appointments with accounts
Report to General Manager on market conditions and business objective status
Complete and submit required administration work (10%-20% of time) (keep thorough and up to date notes on all existing and target accounts)
Requirements
Associates or Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, sales or management strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in craft beer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to work independently
Maintain self-education on Ferment Nation brands and craft beer industry in general
Weekend work required at times
Valid and clean driving record
