    Are you looking for a brewery to call HOME? Are you tired of making the same thing over and over, tired of making beer for the masses?     We are in process of expansion and are looking for an experienced and seasoned Brewer (Technical and Practical experience) who is looking for a place to call home and become the head brewer. This person must have experience in a production brewery and be creative to brew/develop new winning recipes to expand our product line.

    We currently have distribution in NY, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut and are planning to expand to other territories.

    Qualification Overview:
    - Must be ACTIVE in representing the brewery. At the end of the day, this is your home and we want you to grow with us and share the success with us.
    - 4 to 5 years of brewing experience with at least 2-3 years of production brewery experience or a large scale brewpub is a MUST.
    - Responsible for the entire brewing and quality control processes and hence should be well versed in scheduling, brewing, cellaring and packaging operations.
    - We currently use Meheen bottling, if not experienced with this, you can get trained.
    - Recipe development; create “unique” award winning beers.
    - Manage raw materials, inventory control, scheduling and Hop contracts.
    - Sanitary sampling, yeast cell counts and record keeping of all beers produced.
    - Cellar operations including DE filtration, tank transfer, sanitation procedures.
    - Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
    - Coordinating operations with Packaging, Maintenance, QC and Shipping departments.
    - Strong verbal communication and organization skills.
    - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
    - Hands-on leadership skills for developing and training a team.
    - Good understanding of quality assurance / quality control and problem solving skills and to troubleshoot any beer related issues.
    - Participation in events, festivals, promotions, etc. (this is a must).
    - Participation in the operation of the tasting room and give tours.
    - Must be experienced in all aspects of brewery.
    - Experience with lab procedures, such as cell counting/viability testing, wort analysis, CO2 and packaged air testing.
    - Work, manage, and train other brewers. Work along with brewery manager, the owner and other staff.

    Compensation will be a salary position and as the brewery succeeds, we will all take part in profit sharing /bonus.
