Job Description:
Leidel’s Cider is a start-up cidery in search of a head brewer/cidermaker. This individual will
be responsible for managing raw material sourcing, production, packaging, and facility
maintenance. Leidel’s Cider produces exclusively 100% Brettanomyces fermented cider.
We understand this is uncharted territory and do not expect anyone to have experience that
will line up perfectly. However, we are looking for someone to contribute their
knowledge/experience and learn with us.
Requirements:
● Degree or certification in brewing related studies, preferably with experience in
wine/cider fermentation
● Strong organizational skills
● Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
● Understanding of mechanics and brewery planning; previous equipment installation
experience is desired
● Experience in yeast collection and propagation
● Willing to play an active role in promoting the brand through community events,
competitions, and festivals
● Able to perform general maintenance on all equipment including pumps and glycol
systems
● Able to lift 60lbs and work on your feet for 8-12 hours
